The Informative Publications Department is part of the Press and Publications sector of the Ministry of Information. The department is specialized of spreading Kuwait culture and defining Kuwait history , heritage and Civilization in the International ceremonies and book Exhibitions by its various informative publications around the years such as : book, brochures , photos , posters , In addition to special publications related to national occasions : The National Day and The Liberation Day . others are related to Religions Occasions : Eid Al Fitr – Eid Al Adha and Ramadan . Publishing various publications that aim at defining the history, heritage and culture of the State of Kuwait, in addition to publishing periodical publications related to special occasions. |

Supporting and encouraging Kuwaiti authors by purchasing their books. |

Providing subscriptions in the Ministry Of Information periodicals for Kuwait Magazine and the Kuwait Gazette. ( Kuwait Al Youm ). |

Distributing publications and periodicals to the State of Kuwait's embassies and the Ministry's governmental authorities and schools, all free of charge. |

Participating in the International Book Exhibitions held in most Arab and some European countries, the Department distributes and shows the Ministry’s publications and periodicals in order to introduce Kuwait history, culture and literature.
